JOB SEEKERS
Job seekers who post their resumes here will get the broadest possible exposure to potential employers in the Environmental, Construction, Engineering, and Architectural disciplines. We do this while maintaining complete privacy for job seekers, who post their resumes anonymously.
Privacy encourages “passive” job seekers, as well as those who are aggressive in their job search to “test the water” with a high degree of certainty that they will not be identified by current employers. Contact information is released to an employer only with the job seeker’s specific permission. You control who knows you are looking for a job!
Unlike other job posting and resume database sites, we do not charge companies a fee to post jobs or to search our database. This is very much to the job seeker’s advantage! The high cost of memberships and job postings eliminate large numbers of potential employers. Since ECEAjobs.com does not charge for these services, many more potential employers will see your resume.
You benefit directly because the more companies that see your resume, the more likely you are to have multiple job offers from which to choose. Your job options and bargaining power increase significantly with the number of employers that contact you.
Upon posting your resume on ECEAjobs.com, it is sent immediately to any employer that has posted criteria that your resume meets. Unlike other databases, we do not charge for this special resume review service.
Ours is truly a simple and safe way for you to explore the job market. Here’s the way it works:
Post your resume (we withhold the contact information);
We circulate your resume to potential employers;
If one likes your resume, we are contacted;
We contact you to tell you who the employer is and to get your permission to release your contact information; and
You can say YES or NO!
Do you get pressure to say YES? Absolutely not! All we want is your decision within 5 days. If we don’t hear from you, we give you another 5 days. If we still don’t hear from you, we will notify you and the potential employer that your resume is on the inactive list. At that point, the employer may lose interest in you. However, we allow you to re-activate your resume (but we can’t promise to catch that employer’s eye again).
There is another benefit for you in our services!
Employers often post jobs on our site, and we provide you a method of searching through them. When you find a job that sounds interesting, the employer has provided at least one method of contacting the appropriate person. Either there is a telephone number, a fax number, an address, or a link that emails your resume and contact information. We include a text version in the email, a text attachment, and a Word attachment. In an attempt to send only qualified resumes to employers, we reserve the right to screen your resume based on the job requirements and your background.
You have nothing to lose by posting your resume with ECEAjobs.com. We designed it that way. Let us help you find your new job! Meanwhile, we welcome suggestions, comments and feedback about making our site and service more user friendly. We appreciate your time!
